Day 45 of 365. It was -4 degrees with a real feel -11, wind gusts up to 9mph. Plugged away at 3.27 miles in the sun again. We both agreed, let’s try for two miles. Like many of the polar vortex days, the hardest part was getting out there. Stayed plenty warm, wish I had one layer less on top. Wind block tights and snow pants, four layers on top including coat, fleece, long sleeve wool, wicking thermal T-shirt. Check out the ice cycles that formed on my face and eyelashes!
